Hi! I'm Nic Bennett, Ph.D.
I believe how we work together shapes the world we build together. Throughout my career—as a researcher, organizer, and artist—I've returned to the same question:
How do we create spaces where people can practice the world they're trying to build?
Whether I'm facilitating a retreat, designing a leadership program, developing a science communication curriculum, or organizing researchers in defense of science as a public good, my work is grounded in a simple belief: lasting change doesn't come from better information alone. It comes from stronger relationships, shared purpose, and opportunities to practice new ways of leading, learning, and working together.That's why I design participatory, creative, and deeply relational learning experiences that help people build trust, courage, and the collective capacity to act.
My work draws on science communication research, community organizing, and applied theatre—three traditions that have taught me to ground my work in evidence, build change through relationships, and help people learn by practicing together.
